In this free webinar, we’re going to take a closer look into why we are afraid to ask for what we want. We’ll look at…
why we feel selfish
why we get afraid the person will leave if we center our desires
experiences when someone got mad at us for asking for what we wanted
and, we’ll explore three things you can start doing now to change this

Asking for what we want is a necessary component of any healthy and fulfilling relationship.
And, it’s hard. We’re not taught how to do it. We’re taught to be quiet, give, be humble.
The first agreement in my 6 Agreements is Responsibility. We must learn to take responsbility for our desires and in order to do that we have to confront the fear we feel in asking for what we want.
This practice is life changing —because to get better at asking for what we want also impacts our ability to be vulnerable, to hear other peoples desires, and be in a more expansive vibration.
This webinar is a small part of a larger series on my 6 agreements. If you’re interested in learning more about that, check out the upcoming course, 6 Agreements for Relationships, starting March 20.
This practice, as is all of my work, is influenced and grounded in anti-oppression, decolonial, anti-capitalist teachings. Agreements around saying no, asking for what we want, being in consent & integrity – they do not work under the dominant culture systems and we must learn to do relationships differently.
