Scheduling

Important things to remember about scheduling

Online Sessions

In-person sessions (5 hours)

  • Save your unique code that you’ll receive via email and bookmark the scheduling page for your sessions.

  • You can reschedule online sessions up to 48 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment (you must do this through the links in your confirmation emails).

  • There are no refunds for this program.

  • The program expires after three months - any unused sessions are lost.

Before each session

Before each session, email Adam the questions, inquiries, or contemplations you are considering for yourself.

I don’t need a lot of background or info (we’ll talk about that in the session), but this helps give a roadmap for our time.

This is a chance for you to set intentions and think about where you want to go.

Mental prep

I highly recommend that every client watch Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent videos or read the book The Art of Receiving and Giving by Betty Martin and Robyn Dalzen. I will not be teaching the Wheel of Consent, but we will be using it as a map and we will all need some basic literacy of how it works.

These videos are about 7.5 hours and very dense (so go slow and don’t start the day before we meet!). They are not required but will help support you on this journey.

Emotional & energetic prep

Meditation

Being able to bring your body and mind into a state of settledness will greatly impact your experience. If you already have a meditation practice, I would recommend leaning deeper into that. If you are new to meditation, I would encourage you to start.

I practice Neelakantha Meditation as taught by the Blue Throat Yoga school and Paul Muller-Ortega. This is a meditation practice that has been passed down through the Shaivite Trika lineage of tantra. If you are interested, let me know and I will connect you to a teacher who can begin the initiation process with you. I do not receive any compensation from this recommendation, it is simply a practice that has supported my growth, transformation, and groundedness.

Contemplation

Journal and contemplate some, or all, of the following prompts. You can do this before we begin and I encourage you to revisit these questions throughout our time together to notice how you have shifted.

  • What is my current relationship to pleasure?

  • In what parts of my life do I have a lack of power? How does this make it harder for me to ask for what I want and say no to what I don’t want?

  • In what parts of my life do I have an abundance of power? How does that make it easier for me to ask for what I want?

  • What does it mean for me to be in integrity in my relationships? How do I know when I am outside of it?

  • What is my purpose in life?

  • What are the gifts I want to offer in this lifetime?

  • What are the gifts I want to receive in this lifetime?

On-going support

If your program includes ongoing support through the Voxer app, please download the app (Apple, Android) and search for adam@adambee.com to add me as a contact and send a message. If you have trouble, please email me directly.

Things to keep in mind:

  • I generally will respond to Voxer messages once per day and am generally available from 1 PM - 8 PM, Wednesday - Sunday.

  • Focus on questions that you’re facing around your journey, challenges, and pleasure. This is a space to integrate what you’ve learned into your daily life.
